My dear friend, Procrastination

As a postgraduate student, you must have felt that, for sure. I am not exemption at all. I am a great procrastinator since a primary school kid. Back then I hated writing reading report homework during the summer holidays, simply because I did not like reading. Especially imposed reading tasks!!! Anyway, I am procrastinating my work again by writing this comment. We will have an important presentation session at uni tomorrow.

I just wonder if you have any cordless presentation devices for your presentation. I am thinking of buying one on the way to uni tomorrow. When I went back to Japan this April, I thought I should buy one, but I completely forgot it. The model I am thinking of has razor pointer, PowerPoint slide buttons & volume control. It has also vibration warning function with timer. It sounds pretty funky. How about the content of my PowerPoint slides? Well, I will let you know how it goes.

My bubbles have gone! How about the Bubbles? He has been missing for ages!!! He came to Japan with his master or friend, as you know.

Good on you, Mr. Ishihara

We have good politicians and bad politicians, I guess, in any part of the World. At one stage, the former British PM, the former President of the US & the former PM of Australia were regarded as the world leaders???? How about the current Japanese PM? Mr A.....??? Were/ are they really the readers of the world?!

Well, compared to those leaders, even though he has been labled as a quite eccentric, in a way, right wing politician, the Hon Shintaro Ishihara MP, Premier of Tokyo Prefecture, is different. I shall say, he is unique. In a way, he exhibits quite strong leadership like the Hon I strongly agree with his point of view! Our imperial family of Japan is a symbol of the country. We need their appearance for any significant events for the country.

I know Mr Ishihara is quite often seen as a polititian leaning towards the ritht. I sometimes do not share ideas with him. However, what he said regarding the Olympics promotion to Tokyo with potential contribution of the Crown Prince apprearance was quite right for Tokyo and Japan. I personally like his strong leadership & gutsiness by criticising the Imperial House Agency's lack of cooperation on this matter.

We DO need more politicians with strong leaderships like Mr. Ishihara and the Hon Toru Hashishita MP, Premier of Osaka Prefecture!!! Good luck!!!

The Mouse, not a dumb Mickey!

Well, well, well! My wife has just arrived at Paris. More specifically Roissy-Charles de Gaulle Airport, I should say. She is attending a conference at Compiegne.

As you know, “while the cat's away, the mouse will play”. Yes, I will be a bachelor for a week!!!
I unfortunately have lots of work for my work and study. So, I will be a small, sleepless mouse like Napoleon, oops!

It's been a while since the last blog message was posted. I have decieded to come back here to post comments.

Our faculty has Graduate Research Reporting Day tomorrow and some of my friends will have their presentation on their research progression.

Well, this is a begining! I look forward to reporting and hearing from you.

長かった修士課程。それも終わって来週から博士後期課程が始まる。これから、予想以上に忙しくなるので、このブログも終了にさせて頂く。
