Vygotsky & Plato

Needless to say, the conference I attended last two days was of high standard and highly stimulating, from presenters' flexible attitude, because of their openness for constructive criticism and positive self-reflection. The energy level of discussion during the conference has been exceptional. I thoroughly enjoyed the conference.

What I thought during the conference is how similar some concepts of socio-linguistics theories and socio-cultural theory in regard to error treatment.

While I was contemplating the similarities, I also realised similarity of the process of anamnesis by Socrates (Plato) and the Zone of Proximal Development (ZPD) of Vygotsky.
